What I knew before my first time sounding
Honestly, I didn’t know much about sounding aside from the few clips I’ve seen on Twitter. To me, it seemed pretty straightforward. Take the rod. Insert the rod. Then cum.
Easy enough, right? Well…kind of, sort of?
My interest in sounding reemerged while browsing the Fort Troff website. I was looking for something to use my coupon on to add to our collection of sex toys and devices. Made my decision pretty quick once I came across their ‘Silicone Sounds Trainer Pack’.
Coupled with some of their sterile lube, and some other goodies, I placed the order. Based on what I’ve heard from friends, and what was said on the FT website, I knew to be quite generous with the lube.
Use sterile lube to help decrease the possibility for a U.T.I. (urinary tract infection). This I also knew going into this experience from my background as a nurse. You may hear of some people that use spit or whatever lube they have. Again, the choice is ultimately yours, but sterile lube is what is recommended.
First Time Sounding Experience
Honestly, at first, it’s a little uncomfortable. Be very generous with whatever lube you decide to use. Do not try to rush the process either, enjoy it!
Take your time and go slow. You may have to go in just a little bit at first and then take it out as I did. I think by the second or third time my urethra had relaxed enough and was already allowing me to get the whole rod in!
And fuck, did it feel incredible. I watched the rod slide all the way into my dick and make my cock throb even harder and harder. Then, I slowly started to jerk myself off, which was a new sensation for me with the rod in.
Then I tried giving the rod a few taps on the end while in my dick and even a few light flicks to stimulate that vibration effect through my shaft and down into the base. Something about this experience and how it looked and felt gave new life to my sexual energy. Power and confidence came over me as I watched myself in the video edge my cock more and more.
The more comfortable I got, the more I started to move around and really play with the rod and my body positioning. After several minutes of edging and playing with the rod, I started working my dick a bit harder. Then, I quickly pulled the rod out and shot a huge load onto our floor and the orgasm had me speechless.
11 out of 10 definitely recommend 🙂
What I learned for my next sounding session
I may have gotten a bit carried away with how deep and aggressive I got my first time sounding.
For the next 1-2 days my dick was actually pretty sore and irritated from the rod. I’m considering investing in a metal-sounding kit to see the difference during use and how my dick feels after. The silicone is nice because it has some give to it. I do wonder if the metal would be less irritating, though.
Make sure you use plenty of lube regardless of which type of sounding bars you use. That will also help to decrease irritation on the inside of your dick. The next day or two was uncomfortable peeing initially but over time it got easier as my urethra became less irritated. Be sure to stay hydrated and it should help.
Once you’re finished with the rod, I recommend setting it on a clean rag or paper towel. Be sure to take a piss to help clean out any bacteria that may have gotten in and any leftover lube. This is another way to help prevent an infection from happening
Tips for Cleaning Your Rods
Clean your rods! Simple as that.
I have the Fort Troff Trainer Pack which is silicone. For mine, they recommend rinsing and wiping them off with a towel after use to get any excess cum or lube off. Then set them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Set them out to air dry afterward.
Keep your rods clean when not in use as well. Store them in some type of case to keep them contained and away from dust, lube, and other toys.
Remember, this experience is meant to be pleasurable. It is also likely that it may be uncomfortable at the beginning. It should be uncomfortably comfortable but not painful, as they say on the Fort Troff site. Stop sounding and notify your doctor if you experience any pain or bleeding from sounding.
